Consumer electronics require a bit of whimsy to convey their unlimited potential. As inanimate objects with nothing but hard lines and right angles (most of the time) - their form doesn't match their function.

I guess that's where an Art Director can really prove their worth. Tell the story, demonstrate potential, and make it fun.
